NYPD seeks would-be Brooklyn rapist
Police are seeking help from the public in identifying a man wanted in connection with an attempted rape in Brooklyn.
Early Friday morning, a 27-year-old female victim walking along Graham Avenue near Scholes Street in Williamsburg when she was attacked by the suspect, who grabbed her from behind, slammed her head against the ground and attempted to rape her, police said. A witness happened to come on the scene, causing the attacker to flee.
Surveillance video captured a grainy image of the suspect, who is described as a clean-shaven black man in his early 30′s, between five foot eight and six feet tall, and about 170 pounds.
