Miley Cyrus fans are demanding a refund after a snow storm kept the twerking pop princess from performing at Kiss 108′s Jingle Ball Boston concert on Dec. 14.

Rich Nowak, who says he paid $200 for the purpose of seeing Cyrus headline Jingle Ball, started a petition on Change.org asking to be reimbursed.

“Like I said I’m not sure who is to blame but it sure isn’t the attendees who paid good money to see Miley, the headlining act,” Nowak says on the petition.

“My tickets were over $200 dollars a piece. I already wrote to TicketMaster asking for a refund and their response was that refunds are up to the organizers, which in this case is Kiss 108, but that Kiss has no plans of refunding tickets at this time. I tried contacting Kiss directly via email but haven’t gotten any response as of writting this and they are ignoring all social media inquiries on the subject of a refund. I think what we need to do is we need to DEMAND a refund. We paid to see Miley, who was headlining the show! If not a refund then Kiss should organize a free Miley concert for Jingle Ball ticket holders. Kiss 108 needs to do something because we did not get what we paid for. If you agree I hope you will sign this petition. Thank You!”

More than 170 people have hopped on board, with many weighing in on the collective disappointment.

A fan from Dracut, Mass., wrote, “I spent $540 on 3 floor seat tickets just to have my 15 year old son and 2 of his friends see Miley Cyrus. That’s all he wanted for Christmas and she didn’t even show up something must be done.”

Mary, from Holbrook, said she won tickets because she couldn’t afford to buy them.

“It’s all my son wanted. I spent most of my day and night trying to win these tickets and was finally successful. I feel that Kiss 108 did a disservice to their LOYAL Listener’s. No one came out to announce that Miley wouldn’t be there, no one wanted to take the heat for that….It was a disgrace!”
