Suspect sought in East Harlem rape attempt
Police are asking for the public’s help identifying and locating a man they say tried to rape a woman in East Harlem early Sunday morning.
The suspect approached the victim about 3:30 a.m. and pushed her inside a residential building, police said. He then pushed her to the ground and tried to rape her. When the woman, 34, screamed for help, the suspect fled.
