Police seek serial Bronx groper
Police are searching for a man suspected of forcibly touching at least five young women in the last three weeks, all in the west-central Bronx.
The Bronx Special Victims Unit has declared five separate incidents between March 5 and March 18 to be related, based on the descriptions of the suspect and a common modus operandi.
The suspect approached the women from behind — in several cases while they were walking into their buildings — and forcibly touched them before fleeing the scene. None of the women were injured.
The suspect is described as a dark-skinned Hispanic male in his early 20′s, five-foot-ten, and 170 pounds.
