No orgasm is worth dying for

If you practice AEA, think beyond the immediate effect and consider the potentially harmful results.

What’s the deal with choking yourself while masturbating? I read about it online and tried it. The orgasm was powerful, but some of what I read said you can die from it. Can you tell me the real risks?

There is no deal. Do it and you run a high risk of serious injury or even death. Not sure about you, but no orgasm in the world is worth risking one’s life for.

Autoerotic asphyxiation is the act of cutting off blood supply to the brain through suffocation while masturbating. The decreased blood flow limits oxygen to the brain and increases carbon dioxide, which then leads to what many describe as intense sensations, a giddiness, lightheadedness and exhilaration. This, combined with an orgasm, leads to a powerful rush that patients have described as highly addictive and similar to cocaine. Pressure from the device used to choke oneself (usually a belt or strap) can easily collapse the carotid artery and lead to unconsciousness, putting you at risk for death.

Most people, if not all, who participate in AEA do not intend to die from it. The problem is, they often can’t escape what they thought was a fail-safe rescue mechanism due to being unconscious or disoriented. Death then becomes a real possibility. That said, ask yourself: Would you trade your life for an orgasm? Suppose you achieve this wild orgasm, then what? How might you feel if your loved ones discover your dead naked body entangled in such a contraption? You must think beyond the orgasm when it comes to this dire activity.
