‘Send A Dildo To Vladimir Putin’ Facebook group protests Russia’s anti-LGBT legislation

For those who want to protest Russia’s controversial anti-gay legislation without wasting perfectly good vodka, there is an alternative in a Facebook page that encourages people to send a dildo to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The Facebook group ‘Send a dildo to Vladmiri Putin’ is calling on people to “help impale the Vlad” by sending sex toys to the conservative leader.

The group offers his address (23 Ilyinka St., Moscow, 103132, Russia) and requests users to “send your toys, new or used, where they’re needed the most!”

Facebook user Ken Yum says he hopes this cause will turn “Vlad from a dictator to a dicktaker.”

The group is up to 520 members and counting, including New Yorker Daniel Figueroa who said, “This is the best idea I’ve heard yet!! Thanks for adding me! Love from New York!!” according to a comment on the page.

Russia’s controversial ban of “propaganda of nontraditional sexual relations around minors” (in other words, any discussion of homosexuality in front of children) has caused outrage across the globe, as many are calling for a boycott of the 2014 Winter Olympics to be held in Sochi.
