Woman jumps ship from angry cabbie’s car

UPPER EAST SIDE – A 26-year-old filed a lawsuit Monday against Enaf Taxi, saying she had to jump out of a cab to escape an angry taxi driver. Upper East Side resident Amy Ewertz said the unidentified hack turned off the meter, then restarted it, and demanded she pay in cash. When she tried to pay with her card, he sped off with her inside. She managed to pry open the lock and jump.
