Man arrested with BB gun on LIRR

GREENLAWN – Suffolk cops arrested a 22-year-old Huntington Station man for carrying a pistol on a Long Island Rail Road train early Thursday morning.

Reginald Cadet had a BB gun in his waistband on the eastbound train when cops slapped cuffs on him at the Greenlawn station at 12:04 a.m. Nervous passengers called 911 after spotting him with the gun.

Cops also discovered that Cadet had an outstanding warrant for first-degree criminal contempt in Suffolk County before hauling him into jail.
