Two men critical after North Philadelphia shooting
Two men are in critical condition after a double shooting in North Philadelphia Friday evening.
Police responding to a radio call for gunshots near the 1800 block of West Susquehanna Avenue around 5:55 p.m. found a man, 22, lying on the street in front of a residence. He suffered a gunshot wound to the back and was taken to Temple Hospital in critical but stable condition.
Moments later, the officers were told that a second man, 22, was taken to Temple by private vehicle. He suffered a gunshot wound to the right side and is in critical condition.
The first victim said he was standing on the front porch of a property on the 1800 block of West Susquehanna Avenue talking to the second victim when he heard numerous gunshot wounds. He did not see the shooter.
Police are looking for a black male between 20 and 25 years of age wearing a gray hoodie and a black jacket.
