A Revere woman was arrested Tuesday morning for allegedly telling JetBlue Airlines that her cousin had a bomb on a flight that was about to depart Logan Airport.

Nicole Miller, 23, faces a federal charge of making a false bomb threat, according to the US Attorney’s office. She was arrested at her home this morning.

According to a federal complaint, Miller and her cousin were in a personal dispute.

Miller allegedly called the JetBlue reservation center multiple times between 6:19 a.m. and 7:42 a.m. on March 12, according to a federal complaint.

During the calls she said her cousin was on a Logan flight that was bound for Chicago and that her cousin “was not allowed to be on planes at all,” the complaint alleged. She also said he hoped her cousin didn’t blow up the plane, according to the complaint.

During another call, Miller said no one was taking her seriously, that “something” was about to go off on the plane and that she needed to get someone off of the plane.

The JetBlue flight, which had 83 people on board, was diverted to Buffalo and searched.

Miller drove to Logan where she was interviewed by authorities who determined she and her cousin were involved in a dispute.

Miller, who faces up to five years in jail and a $250,000 fine, is due back in court Friday.
