Boyd Shropshire: Queens musician charged with taking upskirt photos in DUMBO

Police have arrested and charged a Queens man for trying to take photos or videos underneath a woman’s skirt.

Boyd Shropshire, 29, was identified by a woman who said she witnessed him trying to position his cell phone beneath another woman’s skirt as she walked up the stairs in front of him while exiting the York Street subway station in DUMBO.

Police released surveillance video of the suspect following the Aug. 20 incident, and Shropshire was booked today on charges of unlawful surveillance, according to the NYPD.

On his Facebook profile, Shropshire has photos of himself playing a guitar and singing with other musicians. According to Gothamist, he was in a band called Human Television in 2005.
