Cops search for Astoria robbery suspect

Cops are looking for a man they say robbed a cleaning shop at gunpoint last week.
 
According to police, around 6 a.m. Jan. 9, a man entered an Astoria cleaning business, pointed a shotgun at a 47-year-old female employee and then hit her on the head and body.
 
He then fled with cash on foot, cops said, and climbed into a black Volkswagen vehicle traveling north on 31st Street.
 
The victim was not hospitalized, cops said.
 
Police described the suspect as male, black, 6-foot-1 to 6-foot-2 and in a hooded sweatshirt.
