(UPDATE) Lockdown at Bronx School lifted after gun determined to be Nerf toy

UPDATE: The Bronx school that was on lockdown is no longer on lockdown after police confirmed the gun reported was actually a Nerf gun.

A school in the Bronx is on lockdown after police received reports of a gun on campus, according the NYPD.
The NYPD received two separate reports of a gun on campus at a school located at 1701 Fulton Avenue in the Bronx.
Police were told an employee overheard one student tell another that he had a gun.
Officers are on the scene.
