Mamura Nasirova: Nanny caught on hidden camera abusing baby

Every day thousands of mothers leave their kids in the hands of nannies. They place trust on women they might not know very well and something going wrong is every parent’s nightmare.

A Staten Island mother believed something was wrong and installed a hidden nanny-cam in her home.

On January 28 at 4:20 p.m. nanny Mamura Nasirova, 52, was caught on the camera hitting and shaking a 5-month-old baby.

The video captures Nasirova as she is bottle-feeding the child that’s in a baby chair placed on the floor. The nanny removes the bottle and smacks the baby across the face.

The baby then starts crying and refuses the bottle. This leads to the nanny hitting the baby on the legs and shaking the baby chair.

According to the New York Post, the family stalled the hidden camera in a carbon monoxide detector after they grew suspicious of the nanny.

The camera was connected to a feed, which the mother watched while the abuse occurred. The mother confronted the nanny and then alerted police and posted the video online.

Nasirova was arrested on Sunday at the family’s home. She was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and resisting arrest, moth misdemeanor charges.

She is being help in jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail.

According to the Post the baby suffered from redness and swelling as a result of the hits.
