Chinatown rings in the 2013 Chinese New Year

Chinatown celebrated the arrival of the Year of the Snake on Feb. 10, 2013. The 14th annual Firecracker Ceremony and Cultural Festival took place at Sara D. Roosevelt Park.  This is the year of the snake in the Chinese lunar calendar.
