5-month-old baby found dead in the Bronx

A 5-month-old baby was found dead in a Bronx home on Wednesday afternoon, according to police. The child’s mother returned home and found the baby’s body unresponsive on the bed. The child was in the care of the mother’s boyfriend at the time.

He was taken to Jacobi Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. The cause of the death has not yet been determined. The investigation is ongoing.
