Authorities raided three local warehouses this morning, seizing counterfeit taxi parts and arresting at least five individuals, the NY Post reported.

A dozen FBI agents were reportedly stationed outside of a brick warehouse in Queens, as authorities seized knock-off brake pads and other car parts inside.

Three arrests were made in Queens, and two in Paterson, NJ. Court appearances are scheduled for this afternoon.

The arrestees were allegedly producing knock-off car parts and selling them to taxi drivers under the impression they were receiving name brand goods.Follow Danielle Tcholakian on Twitter @danielleiat
