Paige Ozaroski/Metro. A man was struck and killed last night by a SEPTA subway train at the Tasker-Morris Station in South Philadelphia.

A man was struck and killed last night by a SEPTA Broad Street Line subway train in South Philadelphia.
Investigators said surveillance camera footage from the Tasker-Morris Station appears to show a man stumbling on the northbound platform shortly before 7 p.m. as the SEPTA subway train pulled up.
The man apparently fell onto the tracks and was hit by the oncoming train. Authorities said he died at the scene.
Subway service was delayed last night as Broad Street Line trains bypassed the Tasker-Morris Station so police could investigate the temporarily-shuttered scene. SEPTA service has since been returned to normal.
The man’s identity is not yet being released pending a full investigation.
