SPCA seizes 10 dogs from East Tioga house
Ten dogs are in the process of being seized by the SPCA in North Philadelphia, authorities said.
Authorities were alerted today by local businesses and neighbors after noticing odd smells wafting from a property on the 4100 block of East Tioga Street, according to SPCA spokeswoman Wendy Marano.
The group obtained a search warrant and are in the process of removing the animals as of 2 p.m., Marano said.
All 10 dogs are German shepherds, Marano said.
