Former Northeast High School dean of students hit with sex charges
The former dean of students at Northeast High School, who turned himself into police yesterday for allegedly having sex with a 17-year-old student, was arraigned today, the district attorney’s office announced.
Mark Preston Williams, 56, was charged with institutional sexual assault of a student, unlawful contact with a minor, corruption of a minor, endangering the welfare of a child and interference with the custody of a child.
Williams bail was set at $50,000 and his next court date is scheduled for April 2.
Institutional sexual assault of a student is a felony in the third degree. No other details have been released at this time and the case is still under investigation.
