If you’ve never associated drug-peddling criminals with goal-orientation, organization and altruism, you haven’t met Evan Dorsey.

On Friday, Weymouth Police arrested Dorsey, 25, for allegedly breaking into a home and stealing from a UPS package.

The good news for Dorsey is that he knocked off at least one of the goals written on his to-do list. Police said that when they searched him, they found a notebook that contained “goals for Friday 3/24/13,” although Friday was actually March 22.

The list of his goals included “finding crystal meth, getting gold watch, doing a B & E (breaking an entering) or robbing a dealer, selling drugs, getting (cocaine), and doing one altruistic act for a stranger,” according to police.

There was no word on whether the 25-year-old was able to “pay it forward” before he was cuffed.

Witnesses told police that Dorsey was going door to door on Blackstone and Sagamore Roads, while knocking and carrying a bag. They also saw him allegedly break into a garage on Wessagusett Road. Dorsey allegedly told residents he was conducting a survey about opening a marijuana dispensary.

Dorsey was charged with breaking and entering in the daytime for a felony, larceny of drugs, possession of class E drugs, possession of burglarious tools, receiving stolen property over $250, receiving stolen property under $250, carrying a dangerous weapon, and attempting to commit a crime.

Police said he is suspected in several other crimes in the Weymouth-area.
