Suspect arrested in fatal shooting of Bronx man
Police have arrested a suspect who allegedly shot and killed a Bronx man in broad daylight Thursday.
Gregory Forbes, 24, has been charged with the killing of 28-year-old Mario Thomas, cops said.
Police officers responded to the call about a man shot about 2 p.m. at 731 E. 161st St. in Morrisania. They discovered Thomas with a gunshot wound to his head. He was taken to Lincoln Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
A dozen bullets were fired by multiple gunmen during the shootout that took place in a courtyard, DNAinfo.com reports.
Forbes also faces charges of criminal use of a firearm and criminal possession of a weapon.
