Joe Biden to receive Distinguished Achievement medal
Joe Biden is the only sitting vice president to receive the Pennsylvania Society’s Gold Medal, according to a news release.
Biden will receive the Pennsylvania Society’s Gold Medal for Distinguished Achievement in December in New York City.
He is the first sitting vice president to be honored in the award’s illustrious 115-year history. Previous winners include former President and five-star World War II Army General Dwight D. Eisenhower, former President George H.W. Bush as well as titans of industry and business.
