Bucks County teacher killed in Dominican Republic car crash
A 24-year-old Bucks County native was killed Tuesday in an auto accident in the Dominican Republic,reports say.
Megan Garven, who taught third graders in the Latin American country, is a a 2007 graduate of Council Rock High School North in Newtown.
Garven’s school, Santiago Christian School, canceled classes on Wednesday and has planned a memorial service for Friday evening, according to its Facebook page.
The accident, in which three others were injured, occurred in Santiago.
