Police are looking for two men who allegedly stole $23,000 Saturday night during a home invasion in the Eastwick section of Philadelphia.

Officers responded to the 2200 block of South 70th Street shortly before midnight.

They were greeted by four victims – two men aged 30, a 57-year-old man and a 27-year-old man.

The men told investigators they were in a second-floor apartment on the block when around 11:10 p.m., two unknown men dressed in all black clothing forced their way through the back door.

One of the suspects was armed with a shotgun, while the second was armed with a knife, according to authorities.

The men allegedly rounded up the victims in the living room and bound their hands and feet with duct tape and blue painter’s tape.

Police said the men then searched the apartment and discovered a safe in a front bedroom closet.

The 30-year-old victim provided the men with the combination after they demanded the safe be opened, but the suspects entered it incorrectly, according to police.

The 54-year-old victim then opened the safe for the men.

Police said the suspects took from the safe about $23,000 in cash and also robbed the victims of four cell phones and a laptop.

No injuries were reported as a result of the home invasion.

The suspects are described as two 6-foot-two-inch tall black males with thin builds.

The man who was armed with the shotgun had no facial hair and tattoos on his right arm, according to investigators.

No arrests have yet been made. Anyone with information is asked to call 911, or to submit an anonymous tip by dialing 215-686-TIPS (8477), texting PPD TIP (773847), emailing tips@phillypolice.com or by filling out this online form.
