Man charged with raping woman in front of her child in Telford
A Quakertown man is charged with raping a woman inside a Telford Borough apartment last month as her 7-year-old daughter watched.
Paul Kerry Wilson, 28, of Hickory Drive, is charged with rape of an unconscious victim, sexual assault, corruption of minors and indecent exposure in connection with the alleged May 24 crime, Phillyburbs.com reports.
Police were called to the Telford apartment when the girl’s paternal grandmother reported that two adults were intoxicated and having sex in the presence of her granddaughter.
Officers found Wilson out front smoking a cigarette and the woman in a unresponsive state on a couch inside the apartment. The girl’s mother was confused and unaware her clothing was around her ankles, and she later told police she had not consented to sex with Wilson, according to the report.
Wilson was arrested May 24 on charges of disorderly conduct, public intoxication and false reports to police, and was placed in the Montgomery County jail on a parole violation the next day, the website reports. He remains in custody.
