LeSean McCoy claims evidence proves he never touched party bus rider

Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy has filed court documents he says serve as proof he never touched party bus rider “Mary Roe,” according to TMZ.

“Roe,” which is a pseudonym because the plaintiff wishes to keep her identity private, last month sued McCoy for allegedly assaulting her as she rode with him on a party bus traveling from a New York City nightclub back to Philadelphia.

In the legal response, McCoy included a text message Roe allegedly sent to another woman shortly after 1:15 p.m. January 10.

The alleged message states Roe has bruises and a lump on her head and is attending therapy and undergoing MRIs.

Therefore, it reads, her lawyer needs to speak with the message’s alleged recipient.

“He is going after the bus company for negligence,” the text reads.

“But if I don’t have witnesses it makes it hard for me to prove anything happened that night.”

The alleged text goes on to state Roe is “trying to keep LeSean’s name out of this even if he encourage his bodyguard initially at first.”

Perhaps most damningly, it reads, “LeSean didn’t touch me physically.”

The alleged message concludes by saying Roe is aware “this isn’t a pretty situation but females go thru [sic] things like this all the time and it gets brushed under the rug or thrown out.”

Roe allegedly said she had two other girls she hoped would speak to her lawyer, as well.

The suit asking for more than $50,000 in damages was brought against McCoy and his bodyguard Big John after Roe claims the two assaulted and poured soda on her and, when she complained, kicked her off the party bus and left her at a New Jersey rest stop.
