Boston Police: Man used chair in Burger King attack
Boston Police are looking for a man who allegedly attacked another man with a chair in a Burger King on Boylston Street last week.
Yesterday police released surveillance images of the suspect, a black man in his 20s wearing dark jeans and a white shirt, who allegedly carried out the violent attack at 10:26 p.m. on June 26 after he and a large group of friends were repeatedly asked to quiet down because they were “causing a loud commotion.”
According to investigators, the suspect responded to the victim’s request to hush up by punching and striking the victim with a chair multiple times, then fled on foot. The victim was bleeding from his face when police arrived.
Anyone with information about the suspect’s identity are encouraged to contact police by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-(800)-494-TIPS or by texting the word ‘TIP’ to CRIME (27463).
