Man, 30, electrocuted by third rail at Broadway G station
A man died last night at the Broadway G station in Bushwick after being electrocuted by the third rail when he jumped down into the tracks reportedly to relieve himself, cops said.
Cops said the victim, 30-year-old Matthew Zeno, was with a friend. The two men were walking in the southbound railbed when Zeno apparently stumbled into the third rail. His friend, 26, suffered a less severe electric shock trying to help Zeno.
Zeno and his friend reportedly had been drinking at a nearby lounge.
