Only hours before he allegedly murdered his friend Odin Lloyd, Aaron Hernandez is seen in home surveillance photos toting a gun.

The new images, which come from a security system inside Hernandez’s North Attleboro mini-mansion, show the former New England Patriots star visibly carrying a handgun by the barrel, walking through his home. The photos were released on Thursday as part of more than 100 pages of court records, according to NBC News.

Alternate images show the former New England Patriot carrying a gun through the basement of his home just minutes after Odin Lloyd was killed.

NBC News added that an arrest warrant released Thursday says .45-caliber shell casings were found in the Nissan Altima the football player is thought to have rented before Lloyd was killed.

Hernandez has pleaded not guilty to murder in the death of his former friend, 27-year-old semi-professional football player Odin Lloyd. Lloyd’s body was found on June 17 in an industrial park in North Attleborough.

Several members of Hernandez’s team commented on the charges facing their former teammate yesterday. Star quarterback Tom Brady gently acknowledged the situation.

“It’s a terrible thing that happened. Look, in the city of Boston this year, what happened in the marathon, these are very terrible things that you wish never happen to anybody. There’s a very human, compassionate element that we all have, and when it’s someone that’s been on our team, it’s a very sad thing. I think that we, as a team, have tried to move forward with better awareness and understanding of these types of things. Hopefully, nothing like this happens again,” Brady said, according CBS News.

But despite the recent controversy, Brady said that “The Patriot Way” is still alive and strong.

“To win football games and represent the community?” Brady said. “Certainly. No question.”
