Multiple assaults near the Ashmont MBTA station have Boston Police on high alert.

A woman who was jogging on Dorchester Avenue  near the station at about 7:10 a.m. Monday morning reported that she was nudged by a man, who then grabbed and squeezed her buttocks. The woman said the man then changed direction and began casually walking toward the Ashmont station, according to Boston Police.

She described the suspect as a light-skinned black or Hispanic man in his 20s or 30s with a thick build, 5-foot-9 or 5-foot-10, with short brown or black hair, wearing an oversized white T-shirt and black pants with white earbud headphones in his ears.

Another woman reported being assaulted at the intersection of Ashmont and Burt streets late Friday evening. She told police she was approached and assaulted by a man who tried to flirt with her, then grabbed her from behind and pushed her. She told police the man groped her buttocks and fled down Burt Street toward Washington Street.

The man is described as a black male with a Jamaican accent, about 5-foot-5 in his mid-20s, wearing a do rag and all black clothing.
