Four people hospitalized after Kingsessing gunfire
Four people were hospitalized — two in critical condition — after gunshots rang out in the Kingsessing neighborhood in Southwest Philadelphia Tuesday night.
Two men, 21 and 23 years old, are being treated at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) for multiple gunshot wounds to their arms and legs, police said. They are in critical condition.
A 20-year-old male is at HUP in stable condition after he also sustained gunshot wounds to his arms and legs in the violent incident on the 1100 block of Divinity Street just after 9:30 p.m.
A 19-year-old man in stable condition at HUP is facing gun charges, according to police. The teen allegedly shot himself in his pelvic area.
Police say it was not the 19-year-old man who shot the other three men.
