The mother of the Manhattan ad executive who fell off her balcony in August is now suing the building’s owners and management for her daughter’s death.

Jennifer Rosoff, 35, was sitting on her 17th floor balcony at 400 E. 57th Street when the railing she was sitting on broke.

In the lawsuit filed on Thursday, Eugenie Rosoff says the building allowed the railing to be in “a dangerous and hazardous condition,” The New York Daily News reports.

It also claims that the defendants, SL Green Realty and Stonehenge Management, failed to conduct required inspections and did not ensure that the railings were firmly in place.

It claims that Jennifer suffered “pain, shock and mental anguish” before her death and seeks unspecified money damages.

SL Green Realty and Stonehenge Management have not yet commented on the lawsuit.

Rosoff, who worked at the advertising company TripleLift, had come home from a first date and was having a cigarette with the man on her balcony when she fell. She landed on scaffolding on the second floor and died instantly.
