Police seek men for armed robbery of 7-11

Police released surveillance footage today of the armed robbery of a 7-11 in Olney in North Philly on Monday.

At 7:05 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 2, two males wearing knit hats with cut eye holes entered the 7-11 at 150 E. Champlost St. with handguns.

One man pointed his gun at a cashier from the front of the store while the other went around back and forced the employee to remove cash from the registers.

After taking an undisclosed amount of cash from the store the two suspects fled west on Champlost Street.

The first suspect is described as a black male in his late teens to early twenties, a height of 5’8″, with a thin build, wearing a gray sweatshirt, dark cargo pants, dark sneakers and a blue knit hat.

The second suspect is described as a black male in his early to mid twenties with a goatee, a height of 6′, medium build, wearing a navy blue jacket, black pants, and dark sneakers.
