VIDEO: Reward offered after Ogontz 7-Eleven clerk shot in robbery
Philadelphia police are seeking the public’s help identifying two men who robbed the Ogontz 7-Eleven store on Stenton Avenue early Tuesday, with one of the men shooting a clerk in the leg.
The Citizens Crime Commission is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrests of the suspects.
Police have released surveillance video from inside the store, at 1820 Stenton Ave., that shows the shooting, which occurred about 4:15 a.m. The men fled to the 6200 block of Gratz Street, where they entered a silver vehicle, possibly a Ford, occupied by two other males, police said.
The getaway vehicle had tinted windows.
The men did not steal any money or merchandise in the robbery.
Both suspects are described as black and in their late teens to early 20s. One is further described as light-skinned with a medium, muscular build. The other is described as medium- to dark-skinned with a medium, stocky build.
