Delaware deaths ruled a double murder, medical examiner says
The deaths of two men whose bodies were found lifeless and riddled with bullets inside a Millsboro, Del. home early Tuesday morning was deemed a double homicide, the Delaware Chief Medical Examiner announced today.
William Hopkins, 27, and Cletis T. Nelson, 29, were found dead around 1 a.m. at Nelson’s home on the 28000 block of Harmons Hill Road, according to state police.
One of Nelson’s family members went to Nelson’s home after he had not responded to repeated inquiries. The family member found the duo, riddled with bullets in their torso, and called police.
State Police said it has not found any evidence of forced entry, and no suspects are in custody at this time.
Further details were not available, and state police said it will continue its investigation.
