Watch yourself in Northwest Philly. The Philadelphia Parking Authority will activate another red-light camera.

On Thursday the PPA announced it will activate its newest camera at the intersection of Stenton and Ogontz Avenues as Sunday night transitions into Monday morning. The site is where West Oak Lane, Mt. Airy and Germantown meet.

The cameras will go live at 12:01 a.m. Monday.

Red-light cameras monitor traffic and automatically photograph the license plates of vehicles that drive through an intersection after the stop light flicked red.

The first 45 days after installation is a grace period. Violators will receive warnings in the mail. The grace period ends at midnight on March 5th.

After the grace period, violators face a $100 fine.

With this installation, the total number of red-light cameras in the city rises to 115.
