A bank robber brandished a knife at a teller at a Republic Bank branch in Center City on Sunday morning, authorities say.

The FBI/Philadelphia Police Department Violent Crimes Task Force has released a surveillance image of the robber.

The suspect entered the First Republic branch at 1818 Market St. about 7:30 a.m. on Jan. 19.

He then “brandished a knife” at a teller and demanded money, according to police.

After taking an undisclosed amount of cash, the robber fled on foot.
