Two men rob Brooklyn tattoo parlor, rape female customer
Two men robbed a Brooklyn tattoo parlor last week, and one of the suspects raped a female customer inside the shop, police said.
The incident occurred about 2 a.m. on Jan. 17.
Police say a female suspect rang the doorbell at Inktastic Tattoo Parlor, located at 118 Ralph Ave. in Bed-Stuy. When an employee opened the door, two male suspects entered the business and the female suspect returned to their car.
One of the men was armed with a gun and the other was armed with a knife, according to police. They stole items from two store workers as well as three customers. During the robbery, one of the suspects also raped a 23-year-old woman, police said.
All three suspects fled the scene in a white Nissan Maxima. The rape victim was taken to Woodhull Hospital.
Police released surveillance video of the suspects entering the shop.
