Snow on the way for Boston, but it will be light
Many people in Greater Boston will wake up on Monday morning to even more snow as the winter continues to be very white for much of Massachusetts.
A couple of inches of snow are expected to fall across much of Massachusetts overnight Sunday into Monday, according to the National Weather Service.
As of Sunday morning, most of the state was expected to be coated in up to two inches of snowfall. The flakes will fall mainly in Boston after 4 a.m. and there’s a slight chance of snow before 8 a.m.
This time last year, a blizzard was burying must of Massachusetts in more than two feet of white.
So far this winter, Boston has recorded nearly 46 inches of snow. The normal for this point in the season is 26.3 inches.
