Elderly couple unaccounted for in Concord fire
Firefighters in Concord are searching for an elderly couple whose home went up in flames Friday morning.
The home, at 35 Nancy Road, caught fire in the early morning hours, according to the Department of Fire Services. The building was destroyed in the blaze, and Concord Fire and Police are working to locate the husband and wife.
WHDH is reporting that a snowplow driver spotted the flames as he passed by around 3:15 on Friday morning and immediately notified authorities. When firefighters arrived, they were not able to get inside because the flames and smoke were already so intense.
The names of the couple were not released.
