Things were returning to normal for SEPTA riders Friday following the nor’easter that pounded the Philadelphia area for roughly 30 hours.

SEPTA announced early Friday morning that most of its services have resumed regular weekday schedules after the winter storm resulted in the suspension of bus routes and delays along its city and suburban rail lines Thursday.

All regional rail lines were operating on a regular weekday schedule, but passengers should expect delays, according to SEPTA. The Market-Frankford and Broad Street lines are also running on a regular schedule.

As of 4:30 a.m., the following bus routes were operating with limited service and detours: 4, 6, 14, 16, 17, 18, 20, 21, 23, 29, 33, 42, 46, 47, 50, 52, 54, 55, 56, 58, 59, 60, 64, 66, 70, 75, 79, 103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 108, 109, 110, 111, 112, 113, 114, 115, 116, 117, 118, 119, 123, 125, 126 and R. All other routes were still suspended.

All trolleys were operating as of Friday morning, and the Norristown High Speed Line is making stops every 15 minutes.

CCT (Customized Community Transportation) was operating on full schedule, but customers can expect delays.

Temperatures were expected to hit 40 degrees by noon Friday, with plenty of sunshine, so melting should help get the transit system back on schedule. Philadelphia and its suburbs got about a foot of snow, as well as some rain and sleet, from the nor’easter.
