Dorchester man charged with Ruggles Station shooting
A Dorchester man was arrested Friday after allegedly shooting two men at the Ruggles MBTA station.
Terrell Harris, 19, was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and illegal possession of a firearm, Transit Police said.
Harris is accused of shooting a 20-year-old man and a 34-year-old man, both in the leg, about 8:45 p.m. in the busway area of the station. Both victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment, according to police.
The 34-year-old victim was apparently not a target in the shooting, police said.
Harris is due to be arraigned in court Tuesday.
