Man breaks into Framingham home, passes out on toilet
A Framingham woman got quite the surprise Saturday morning when she awoke to find a stranger sitting on her toilet.
After breaking into a Framingham apartment, Tyrease Slaughter, 28, fell asleep while sitting on the toilet. According to the MetroWest Daily News, police were called to the scene but struggled to wake up Slaughter. He was suffering from injuries including a cut on his hand and on his face, and was also intoxicated, prosecutor Emily Walsh said during Slaughter’s arraignment Tuesday.
Slaughter reportedly told police he was staying in a relative’s apartment in Framingham, but was unable to provide an address where the relative lived. He was charged with unarmed burglary.
Slaughter’s attorney, John Daly Jr., said the situation was just a mistake, and Slaughter had been in a serious fight.
“He was just seeking refuge after being beaten up,” Daly told MetroWest. “He was confused after being beaten.”
Slaughter will be held without bail for 60 days, and will return to court Thursday for a pretrial conference.
