Forecasters predict between 4 and 8 inches of snowfall
It’s not even funny anymore.
The National Weather Service predicts between 4 and 8 inches of snow will blanket the city by the end of Monday morning.
The city declared a snow emergency, which starts at 10 p.m. Sunday night. The city will open two hours late on Monday morning.
Monday trash collections are cancelled, and driveway/alley collections are cancelled all week. Courts and parochial schools will be closed Monday.
No word yet on public schools.
NWS Meteorologist Mike Gorse said the snow will linger for a few days as temperatures hover in the 20s on Monday and Tuesday.
Is this the last snow storm of the year? “No guarantees,” Gorse said.
