Police are looking for two men wanted in connection with separate rape attempts in Brooklyn and Manhattan on Monday.

In the first incident, cops said a man approached a 22-year-old woman and grabbed her by the neck inside a Bed-Stuy building near Myrtle and Tompkins Avenues about 1:50 p.m. He then pretend to have a gun, pushed her to stairs in the building lobby and removed her clothes, police said.

The man groped the woman and began to remove his pants but fled when she screamed. He ran off with the woman’s cell phone and $60.

The man wanted for questioning is described as black and between the ages of 30 to 40. Police said he was last seen wearing dark clothing and black sneakers, holding gloves in his hand.

In the Manhattan incident, police said another man followed a 31-year-old woman into her Hamilton Heights building around 10:30 p.m.

The suspect lingered near the woman while she checked her mail. As the woman began walking up the stairs to her apartment, cops said the man took her cellphone.

The man backed off when the woman took her phone from him, but continued to follow her and forced himself into her apartment.

Police said the suspect tried to remove the woman’s blouse and pants but stopped when she yelled and fought back. The man fled from the apartment with her cellphone.

The Manhattan suspect is described as Hispanic, roughly 5-foot-7 and was last seen wearing a beige coat over a black hoodie.

The NYPD ask anyone with information about either incident to call Crime stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477), submit a tip online or text 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
