Two men arrested for subway breakdancing
Two men were arrested last week for breakdancing in an L train near Union Square, police said.
Michael Paul, 17, and Xavier Fowler, 20, were caught swinging their arms and legs dangerously close to passengers’ heads at about 6 p.m. on March 19. They were initially charged with reckless endangerment, as DNAinfo was first to report.
Fowler’s charge was reduced to disorderly conduct at his arraignment, the Manhattan District Attorney’s office told DNAinfo.
The arrests follow on the heels of a similar incident at the end of last year, when two men were arrested for dancing and performing somersaults on a packed A train.
