During his first three months in office, Mayor Bill de Blasio has developed a reputation for a dogged belief in universal prekindergarten and cringe-worthy “dad jokes” about his gigantic stature.
But being mayor is more than policy and “amusing” banter during press conferences. As former Mayor Michael Bloomberg learned, demonstrated by this really cool sweater, style matters. And sometimes that means the mayor has to play dress-up.
