Hubbardston man arrested for alleged drunk disturbance on MBTA
A Hubbardston man allegedly spat at a passenger and police on the MBTA Thursday night during a drunken outburst, according to Transit Police.
Joseph Dufour, 32, faces a charge of disorderly conduct after being arrested at Porter Square commuter rail station at 7:20 p.m., police said.
When officers arrived on scene, Dufour was allegedly waiving his arms around and shouting profanities. Several witnesses allegedly said Dufour appeared intoxicated when he spat on a passenger and called another passenger a derogatory name.
Dufour allegedly attempted to spit on Transit Police during his arrest. He was due in Cambridge District Court Friday.
