Future Boston Alliance and Karmaloop want night-life loving Bostonians to #RidetheLine Saturday and enjoy an MBTA dance party with bar-hopping along the Red Line between Dorchester and Cambridge.

#RidetheLine will kick off at 9 p.m. at Savin Hill Bar & Kitchen and wind down at 2 a.m. at O’Sushi. In between stops, participants can experience music and dancing on the MBTA, according to Future Boston Executive Director Malia Lazu.

“We’re just going to be really free flowing and doing some sing alongs. We’ve been joking a lot that we plan to play Pharrell’s ‘Happy’ over and over because it’s something that everyone can dance to,” said Lazu.

Organizers said they will updateTwitter and Instagram with their shenanigans.

The night will also be documented by One Day on Earth, who will join the group in an effort to highlight Boston’s status as “a true world class city,” one that organizers describe as “culturally rich and economically developing within the creative industries.”

“We want to encourage people to travel throughout different neighborhoods, and get to know some great venues throughout Boston,” said Lazu.
